The Satellite Agency Network Group, Inc. (SAN Group) is a unique independent insurance agency network that is dedicated to the creation, retention and growth of the local independent agency.

Founded in 1983, SAN Group was formed to assist locally owned and operated independent agencies in gaining access to additional insurance companies and access to benefits and products that were previously only available to the larger regional agencies. Founded in 1983, SAN Group has established a large regional distribution network. This allows member agencies to remain independent and still concentrate on giving their clients the best and broadest possible range of insurance services.

The SAN Group remained a New England regional concept until 1994 when it formed the national alliance called Strategic Insurance Agents Alliance (SIAA). SIAA has become the largest network of independent agencies distributing property and casualty insurance in the United States.
